Marine Cargo Insurance is an insurance that provides
protection against goods transported either by land, sea or air, except risks
excluded under policy.
MPM Insurance offers 2 types of marine cargo insurance coverage/policy
during transport or delivery:
Polis Standar Asuransi Pengangkutan Barang Indonesia (PSAPBI)
Coverage I :
Cover the loss, damage, and responsibility for the goods and or the interests insured.
Coverage II :
Cover the loss due to:
- Fire or explosion
- Stranded, sank or turned upside down ship
- Collision of land transport, inverted or out of rails
- Collision of ships with ships, collision of ships with different objects except water
- Unloading of goods at the emergency port
- Earthquake, tsunami, volcanic eruption or lightning strikes
- Sacrifice for general losses at sea, jettison, swept goods by waves , sea water intrusion into the ship
- Thrown cargo into the sea
Coverage III :
Cover the loss due to:
- Fire or explosion
- Stranded, sank or turned upside down ship
- Collision of land transport, inverted or out of rails
- Collision of ships with ships, collision of ships with different objects except water
- Unloading of goods at the emergency port
- Sacrifice for general losses at sea, jettison
- Institute Cargo Clause (ICC)
- ICC (Air):
Institute Cargo Clause (ICC)
- ICC (Air): Cover all risks of loss or damage to the insured object.
- ICC A (equal to PSAPBI Coverage I)
- ICC B (equal to PSAPBI Coverage II)
- ICC C (equal to PSAPBI Coverage III)
